Talking Book Service of the New Hampshire State Library
Print/Braille Books - are real children's books, illustrations and all, that have been cut from their bindings.  Clear plastic sheets with Braille embossing are interleaved with the print pages is such a way that the print on the two facing pages is exactly transcribed into Grade II Braille on the plastic interleaves.  This means that a sighted person and a blind person can enjoy the book together.  A blind child can read to a sighted adult and get help with new words even if the adult can't read Braille.  A blind adult can read to a sighted child and the child can follow the pictures as well as the words.
