The New
Hampshire Department of Education, Services for
Blind and Visually Impaired, is the designated
State Licensing Agency that certifies NH
residents as being Legally Blind. The names of
Individuals who are certified as Legally Blind
are then put on the Registry and are eligible for
the following benefits:

Tax Letter

and Dividends Letter

 | Fishing
License
|
 | Department
of Safety Photo Identification Card
|
 | Walking
Disability Placard
|
 | Verification
of Blindness Letter

In order for
certification to occur, an eye examination report
must be completed by an ophthalmologist or
